Saboten Con is an annual anime convention based in Arizona that takes place in October (from Friday to Sunday). Saboten Con has become the premier Anime convention in Arizona with attendance for 2010 reaching over 2,000.
Saboten Con was awarded the "Best Anime Convention - 2010" by the Phoenix New Times, which recognized its growth in Arizona as well as it ability to bring in big named guests from the Anime and Manga industries.[1]
The goal for Saboten Con for 2011 is a year of growth in attendance. The staff is focusing on marketing in key areas to help get the word out about Saboten Con and they will be announcing their first round of guests by early April 2011.
